Welcome Message from Julio Ponce, Executive Director

For more than five decades, the Hialeah Housing Authority has carried a simple but powerful belief: when you provide a safe home, you open the door to a better life. Since 1967, this belief has guided our work and strengthened the foundation of the community we proudly serve.

HHA Development Inc. - "Open Doors" was established to build upon that long-standing legacy. While the Housing Authority has always focused on housing stability, our nonprofit was created to expand that mission, opening new pathways for support, services, and opportunities that reach beyond traditional public housing programs.

Our Four Keys reflect this commitment:
