163 PARTICIPANTS AS OF AUGUST 2004

The program was designed for Section 8 participants to achieve self-sufficiency. Goals are established with the participant that may include getting a GED, college education, job training, as well as financial goal setting and home ownership. Participants are also eligible for an earned income escrow savings account. During the term of the five year contract, participants will have the opportunity to save every time their rent increases due to earned income.
