| "Holland Hall" is a 101 unit Elderly Turnkey Development Project, comprised of 74 efficiencies and 27 one-bedroom units and is located at 555 East 1st Avenue, Hialeah, Florida. Mrs. Evelyn F. Holland was a former Commissioner on the first Board established by the Hialeah Housing Authority and later served as Chairman. Her fellow Commissioners named the project Evelyn F. Holland Hall in her honor. Mrs. Hall was best known in the Hialeah area as the person responsible for the establishment of the Hialeah Housing Authority and the construction of low cost housing for Senior Citizens. The construction of "Holland Hall" was completed in May of 1973. | |||||||
